KENT SWICK

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Kent is a Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years of experience in civil construction, mining maintenance and surface and underground mineral drilling. During his time as Maintenance Engineer with Atlas Copco Australia, Kent managed underground maintenance contracts, where he developed a strong understanding of underground mining methods and equipment. Kent is the founder and has been the driving technical force behind the design of Swick’s innovative underground diamond drill rig, and our award-winning surface reverse circulation drill rig. In addition to his degree, Kent has completed the Owner/ President Management program at Harvard Business School.

PAUL ROBINSON

GENERAL MANAGER - FINANCE

Paul takes on the role of General Manager – Finance, having started at Swick in 2013 in the role of Group Financial Controller. Paul brings A CPA with over 25 years finance experience across a range of industries including mining services, mining and construction, Paul uses his diverse experience to partner with the operations delivering reporting requirements and a continuous improvement focus to business processes.

NICK ROSSIDES

GENERAL MANAGER - GLOBAL

Nick has over 20 years of experience in the drilling industry encompassing surface and underground operations within Australia and internationally, where he developed a strong understanding of drilling methods and operational excellence for both Swick and clients alike. Nick’s experience in operational and executive roles plays an integral part in Swick’s continuous improvement in both future and day-to-day operations. Nick holds an Executive Master in Leadership, Strategy, and Innovation.

JOE HESKETH

MAINTENANCE MANAGER – GLOBAL

Joe has over 20 years’ experience in the field of Maintenance. He first joined Swick in 2006 and has worked in various key roles since, including Maintenance Training, Technical Support and supervisory, and was recently appointed as Swick’s Global Maintenance Manager. Joe has a strong skillset in Technical Hydraulics and Employee Management which he uses to maximise domestic and international rig availability and ensure premium drilling performance. He also manages the company’s Drill Rig Capital Rebuild Program at our Head Office which enables our fleet to operate with the highest standard of safety and productivity.

ROBERT BURNETT

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Robert has been involved in the drilling industry for over 20 years including both surface and underground drilling operations. Joining Swick Mining Services in 2006, Rob has held multiple specialised roles supporting operations throughout Australia and North America. Robert’s journey in the drilling industry has gained substantial knowledge and experience with directional capabilities, drilling adverse ground conditions, and contract management. Robert’s industry knowledge and understanding of client requirements have successfully seen his transition from operations to Business Development Manager.
