A Senior Marketing Executive with extensive global marketing experience in the resource and mining industry, Andrew’s impressive career spans more than 40 years. He is currently the Managing Director of Resource & Technology Marketing Services Pty Ltd, a company providing specialist marketing and business assessment advisory services to the mineral resources and technology industries, both in Australia and internationally.

KENT SWICK

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Kent is a Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years experience in civil construction, mining maintenance and surface and underground mineral drilling. During his time as Maintenance Engineer at with Atlas Copco Australia, Kent managed underground maintenance contracts, where he developed a strong understanding of underground mining methods and equipment. Kent is the founder and has been the driving technical force behind the design of Swick’s innovative underground diamond drill rig, and our award winning surface reverse circulation drill rig. In addition to his degree, Kent has completed the Owner/ President Management program at Harvard Business School.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Kent is a Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years experience in civil construction, mining maintenance and surface and underground mineral drilling. During his time as Maintenance Engineer at with Atlas Copco Australia, Kent managed underground maintenance contracts, where he developed a strong understanding of underground mining methods and equipment. DAVID NIXON

Non-Executive Director

David is a Mechanical Engineer with over 40 years’ experience in the mining and construction industries in Southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Indonesia. He was a founding executive of Signet Engineering in 1990 and a Director until its acquisition by Fluor Australia in 1996. David is also a past Non-Executive Chairman of Atlas Iron, Brockman Resources and Moly Mines.

Philip is a Mining Engineer and Metallurgist with over 50 years’ experience in the mineral industry. His expertise lies in gold and nickel in both underground and open pit operations. He was employed by WMC Resources for 20 years as General Manager for WA, where he was responsible for the nickel division and gold operations. Philip also previously held the position of Director Operations for Dominion Mining Ltd and Resolute Ltd.

Philip is a Mining Engineer and Metallurgist with over 50 years’ experience in the mineral industry. His expertise lies in gold and nickel in both underground and open pit operations. He was employed by WMC Resources for 20 years as General Manager for WA, where he was responsible for the nickel division and gold operations. JITU BHUDIA

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr Bhudia has been Chief Financial Officer at Swick Mining Services Ltd. since April 8, 2015. Mr Bhudia has over 15 years of finance experience in the resources sector with a majority of that time in the mining services sector, having previously been employed in senior finance and leadership roles in ASX listed and large private mining and mining services companies. Mr Bhudia is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

NICK ROSSIDES

OPERATIONS MANAGER – UD APAC

A qualified boilermaker by trade, Nick began his drilling career in 2000 with a surface exploration drilling company, working in the remote north of WA. Two years later he transitioned to underground drilling, and joined Swick as a driller in 2005. Since then, Nick has progressed up the ranks, first as Area Manager and now as Operations Manager, where he is responsible for all aspects of underground operations in Australia, including Swick’s state of the art training facility.

JOE HESKETH

MAINTENANCE MANAGER – GLOBAL

Joe has over 20 years’ experience in the field of Maintenance. He first joined Swick in 2006 and has worked in various key roles since, including Maintenance Training, Technical Support and supervisory, and was recently appointed as Swick’s Global Maintenance Manager. Joe has a strong skillset in Technical Hydraulics and Employee Management which he uses to maximise domestic and international rig availability and ensure premium drilling performance. He also manages the company’s Drill Rig Capital Rebuild Program at our Head Office which enables our fleet to operate with the highest standard of safety and productivity.

BRENDAN O’SHEA

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Brendan is a marketing executive with over 26 years’ experience in the Australian resource and mining industry. He was appointed Swick’s Business Development Manager in 2017, and is responsible for all client engagement and business development activities. He has previously held senior commercial positions with multinational mining equipment suppliers, Australian mining contractors and drilling services companies. Brendan’s experience has provided him with significant exposure to a broad range of geological settings and mining methods.
